Site Preparation: Shoring
February 2008...
Construction preparation work on the site is proceeding well. Soldier pile shoring installation began in January to stabilize the bank prior to forming for the foundation. Steel I beams are anchored in concrete and infilled with 6" x 6" timber lagging. With the shoring work well underway, foundation form work has also commenced.

Tamarind Westside: Excavation
November 2007...
Excavation on the Tamarind site is well underway. This extensive "hole in the ground" will ultimately be transformed into the underground parking garage that will span the width of the property under both buildings, Serrano (Building One) and Saffron (Building Two). By the time the excavation has been completed in mid-November, 27,000 cubic metres of soil will have been trucked out of the site.
